Emalee is one of two females that we kept from Hazel's litter in August 2012. Her personality was so much like our granddaughter, Emalee, that we felt we had too!  She is attentive, warm, very smart and always smiling! Over the year, she has grown into a beautiful black/tan hound, being one of the largest females we have!  We are so very glad that she is part of our pack!

Health Clearances

Emalee turned two on August 19th, 2014 and we had her OFA testing completed on 10/16/14 - hips, elbows, thyroid, cardiac - all results are fine and are on file with OFFA.org should you want to view them.  Her DM and DNA were submitted on May 15, 2015 and are also on file.

She had her brucellosis test in 2014 and results were negative.

Emalee has never bred and she prefers to be on her own - we are looking for just the right forever home for her to finish out her life in - preferably she would be the only dog. The new family will have to come here to meet her as she is a very picky gal . . she seems to prefer men over females for some reason!

October 10, 2016 - Emalee has found her new home and will be living her life out with a wonderful priest . . getting to know his parish. We will miss her very much but it looks to be a match in heaven!

October 15, 2016 -update, she is doing great according to Father John - already opening the screen door on her own! He has renamed her to Bobbie, after the parnish where he is serving!  Good for her!
