I can't say enough good things about Cyclone Ridge Kennels! Perfectly ran from the application to the day you get your puppy! Debi and Buddy both are amazing!!! I highly highly recommend that anyone contemplating getting a Bloodhound....definately contact them. So informative with all their knowledge of the breed.....inside and out! The best ran kennel I have ever seen! Thanks again Debi! Best of luck to you, Buddy and all your future litters!

When Baylie came to us, I realized real quick like that my ‘puppy mama skills’ were a bit rusty. She whipped me into shape in no time. Be prepared for lightning quick arm reaches into the mouth...and often...inside, outside, counters, & floors...pick up EVERYTHING. Be prepared for MAJOR counter surfing. They gain that reach in the blink of an eye. Crate training is amazing. Bell training to go potty is great too. These guys are sooooo smart! Second most important, socialize them and expose them to as much as possible. Fear of things (just in general), can happen easily. My girl is not afraid to scale anything, get on whobbly, moving things, walking through automatic doors. She came unafraid. (Debi works with them on these things before they ever come to you). Baylie actually walks with me when I vacuum b/c she’s been treat trained so as not to be afraid of it. Noises when she’s outside has been a big thing we’ve had to work on. Engage their mind. Debi’s dogs are crazy smart and they want to work for you. At 5 mos Baylie already has her CGC, and is now in a AKC trick class. It’s so much fun to see my girl’s little wheels spinning trying to figure out what I want her to do. She’s thinking and using her mind. That’s healthy for them in so many ways. Last, snuggle, hug, pet, & let em slobber all over ya. Baylie is crazy, but she will just come to me at times and sit by me. She needs some lovin’. At night time she never fails to jump in the bed (and, yes, I swore no more dogs on the bed😬😜), nibble my ears and tuck her muzzle up under my chin. It’s our nightly routine. You’ll love your baby! As you can tell, I do too!❤️😍

We found a new vet the other day and they said Maple Magnolia was the most gorgeous dog they have ever seen. They go what color is she?? It's so different.. and I go she is maple but really a dark liver... she is absolutely perfect. And she is literally everything we wanted or could hope for. She is so sweet and loving and Mooses opposite in every way. Thank you for picking her for us. She is our angel.

Hi Debi, Not sure if you remember me but I’m the Police Sergeant from Texas that purchase one of your female pups this past July. Born May 22, 2017, daughter of Joe and Madison. We named her Abigale but we call her Abby. Anyway, I haven’t spoken to you in a while and I wanted to give you an update on Abby. She is absolutely wonderful and stole our hearts from the start. Such a loving and well mannered dog. Very calm and literally wants to hug and kiss all we will allow. Oh and eat. She LOVES to eat, and would likely empty the bag of food if we let her. She just turned 5 months old and is doing great and growing like a weed. We have not had any problems with her at all and she seems to be very smart, as she picks up on thing fast. Much quicker than our male Bassett Hound did for sure. For whatever reason I believe females learn faster or at an earlier age then males do. My wife agrees and says it’s universal. Meaning with humans too. Abby just finished all of her puppy shots and is taking a Nuvet vitamin everyday as well as a heart worm pill every month. She’s grown a ton over the past three months and weighs 66 lbs. not sure of her height but she’s pretty tall. Towers over our Bassett Hound now, LOL!! Both dogs get along great and play together all the time. I say okay, more like wrestle and mouth each other all the time. I’ll send you a current picture of her as well. Just wanted to give you an update and thank you for allowing me to purchase one of your pups. You efforts definitely pay off as your dogs are truly top notch. Couldn’t ask for a better hound. Thanks again and I’ll send you another update down the road. J. Luker #984 | Sergeant Irving Police Department South Patrol Division 305 N. Thank you so much Debi for our amazing bloodhound pup! He is so well mannered and sweet. We will certainly keep you posted as he grows. Mia is on the closed Facebook group often so look for pics there as well. I was impressed that he's come to us almost fully housebroken (I say "almost" as we did have one incident about an hour ago but we're blaming ourselves as he was whimpering and thought he missed his siblings). Who knows but he's perfect in every way. Thank you again for everything. Sincerely, Rob & Mia

Good morning! My name is Kathy Swain. I believe you've been talking with my husband about bringing a new member into our family. I just wanted to say thank you for all that you do for your dogs. You can tell by Facebook, your website, and emails that you truly love and care for your dogs. Six months ago our middle son Gabriel lost his dog of 14 years. From the moment he was brought home from the hospital Sophie never left his side. She would do everything with Gabe plus she slept with him every night. When the time came for us to put her down Gabriel was with her and refused to leave her side. He said that she was his dog and he was going to be with her to the end so that she knew he loved her and she wasn't alone. Although when she was gone a little part of my son went with her. You can never understand how important a pet is in someone's life until they're gone. A light has been brought back into his eyes with the new addition to our family. Everyday he checks Facebook and the website for updates and pictures. He and Steve pour over websites trying to find the best collars, bowls, beds, food, toys etc.... He and Steve talk about the best puppy training methods and who's going to pick up his poop :) I just wanted you to know a little about what kind of home your boy will be going to. He will be loved fiercely by our family but will hold a special place for our son who needs a dog to love. Thank you again for all you do for your dogs. We are counting down the days until we can meet you all in person and bring our boy home. Blessings, Kathy

I just wanted to take some time and tell you about Levi, I want you to tell that we know how special he is. So here is where I start. If you remember my son Nick, he was the big fella that came with me to get Levi. Well three weeks before we came he was in the hospital for 4 days and was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Needless to say we were devastated. He is on an aggressive treatment for it, but has still having some difficulty. He has been able to continue to work. He works for Rolling Meadows Public works in Illinois. He is works the forestry crew and cuts trees, he has been doing ok with that. We worry about him all the time, but not much we can do except hope for the best. Then I got sick which did not help. I am better now. I don’t like that he is 3 ½ hours away from us, but they have better treatment facilities than we do here and his wife and her family is there for him. So needless to say we have had a rough year. The reason I am telling you all this is to put Levi into perspective. Quigley is absolutely great, he gets better all the time. He and Levi are getting along well. Quigley loves him so much and want to be right beside him constantly, Levi is very patient with him. With all the worry about Nick, there are times when I have been pretty low and depressed, but I get home from work and Levi, greets me, sometimes talking, he is so loveable, we pet and hug him all the time. He makes us so happy and I sure think he is happy. We rub and talk to him and he never seems to get tired of it. I love it when he kind of snuggles up and gets closer. He seems to like hugs, “he gets a lot of those” What I am trying to say is he has had such a large impact on us and makes our lives better and happier. When he comes running to me outside I just love it. I would have never believed that he could move so fast. Beth summed it all up the other day on how well he has adjusted, she said “even though it has really been a short time it is like he has always been here”. It is so true he is just a very wonderful part of our family. I just wanted you to know how good it has been for us to have him. I am not real religious, but I do believe some things are meant to be and I believe being with Levi is one of those things. My words fall short trying to describe how important Levi is to us, but I wanted to try and convey it to you and thank you for letting him be a part of our lives.

I want to continue thanking you for my Elsa. What a joy she has been. The best advice you gave me was the three cup rule. She only needs three cups of food per day. She has maintained her weight holding at 114 since her 1 year old check-up. She could and would eat 10 cups per day if we let her. She is food driven. What a silly character. She was the perfect dog for me and I was the perfect mom for her. She is the joy of my life and I'm her joy. Match made by Deb. Great decision. 💕. I hope this note finds you in a great place in your life as well.

Update on puppy - Deb, I have to tell you, you must have showed my Tiberius a lot of love when he was a pup, because he constantly has to be loved almost to the point he gets irritable. As for the food Tiberius get the same allowance. He loves the snow and cold. He doesn’t like it when he is only allowed to be out for 15-20 minutes when it gets really cold.. wish he understood he has web feet . I think he is keeping my 9 year old Beagle young, the /Beagle will run him and cut hard and poor old Tiberius looses traction and tumbles.. I am blessed that Maxximus (the Beagle) has excepted the fact he isn't Leonidas ( our Blood Hound that passed) and has excepted him, They have become very tight! You and your Husband are truly great breeders it shows with Tiberius’s demeanor. Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed the 2 Blood Hounds I received from Kate but I am not sure if showed them the love that you showed mine. In closing you will not believe this... he loves his nails and ears done.
